What can you use sage for?
- Infusion: sage can be used as an infusion or added to tea, herbs or yerba mate. To prepare an infusion, pour 1-2 tablespoons of dried leaves over boiling water (about 200 ml) and steep for about 20 minutes, covered.
- Food ingredient: dried sage leaves can be used in a variety of recipes, as a seasoning for grilled meat, fish, dishes with vegetables, rice or groats, and are an excellent complement to salads and sauces, introducing a slightly spicy, herbal flavour.
